On December 3, IFNMU organized a meeting for foreign students with First Pro-Rector, Professor Anna Ersteniuk. Pro-rector for Science and Education Work (International Relations) Serhiy Kobets, Dean of Foreign Citizens Training Faculty Dmytro Solomchak, employees of the Department of International Relations, the curators of the groups also took part in the event.
"We are gathered to discuss topical issues of university life and the organizational issues of the educational process in general. Our students are a large part of the university. Foreign students, as well as Ukrainian, have equal rights and responsibilities", - said Anna Ersteniuk.
First Pro-Rector noted that our students can contact the curators and dean staff at any time. They have also the opportunity to leave an anonymous letter addressed to the university administration in the box on the first floor.
Medical students may also register online to make up for any lost class time. Each student can practice on dummies and phantoms by pre-recording.
It is also very important for foreign students to learn the Ukrainian language. Senior students advise younger colleagues to learn Ukrainian as quickly as possible in order to adapt quickly to the new environment.
A foreign student from Iraq told about the nuances of adaptation on TV channel "UA Carpathians". For more detailed information please go here.
It should be noted that 1,548 foreign students from 46 countries of the world are studying at IFNMU today.
The new intake of students at the preparatory department lasts until December 31st.
