Today, the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University celebrates its 73rd anniversary. To mark this milestone, the University launched a series of programs and activities.
The Economic Forum in Krynica is the largest conference in Central and Eastern Europe. Every year the Forum, organized at the beginning of September brings about 5000 guests. These are political, economic and social leaders. The guests come from over 60 countries in Europe, Asia and America. According to the organisers, the mission of the Economic Forum is to create a favorable climate for development of political and economic cooperation in Europe.
On June 22-24, 2018, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation held the 11th Annual Youth Forum of Zavtra.UA and WorldWideStudies (WWS) scholarship programmes, “Transforming Ukraine: Creativity, Networks, Innovation”. The event brought together in Kyiv about 400 scholarship holders, including medical students of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. There were also 6 WorldWideStudies grantee among the forum participants who will study abroad to get a Master’s degree at the world’s best universities and 100 new Zavtra.UA scholars who will get a one-year scholarship and receive support for implementing projects in Ukraine.
At the moment Sergiy Kobets, Pro-Rector for Science and Educational Work (International Relations) is on a working visit to India. He is presenting the University with the aim of encouraging future students to enter Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University.
A special solemn graduation ceremony for the graduates of the medical college was held at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University on Saturday, June 23rd. The administration and teachers especially noted the high level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of this year's graduates.
A solemn graduation ceremony for the graduates of the Faculty of Medicine was held at the Ivan Franko National Academic Music and Drama Theatre. 445 students were able to close the door of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University and open another to new opportunities on Thursday, June 21st at their graduation ceremony.
